When you create an account on eMandirs, we collect:

Name and email address (for account creation)
Phone number (optional)
Ishta Devata preference
Usage data: pages visited, pooja history, streak
Device info: browser type, OS (for performance)

We do not collect payment card details — processed securely by Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the eMandirs experience
To send festival reminders (only if you opt in)
To save pooja history and streak
To process donations and issue records
To respond to your enquiries
To comply with legal obligations (PAN for large donations)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. We never sell your data or send unsolicited marketing.

4. Cookies & Analytics

eMandirs uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate, anonymous usage analytics. We use Google AdSense on content pages (katha, festival, pooja vidhi). Temple pages (ganesh.html, shiv.html etc.) are ad-free for uninterrupted darshan.

5. Donations & PAN

As required under Indian Income Tax law, donations of ₹50,000 or more require a valid PAN card number. This is stored securely and used only for statutory compliance.
